Thanks Amy! You’ve highlighted something that I didn’t in my post – the multiple entry points. The teacher just getting started with something like this, wades in and tries new strategies. The teacher who has done things like this many times shares and leads others, developing those skills. Teachers in different grades and subjects find their own ways to connect. Thanks for that!!! The energy these projects are creating is fabulous. Everyone has the opportunity to find something for themselves, and the creativity of the students that has emerged is mind blowing. You are correct when you say that these opportunities create the impetus for teacher learning.
