About Me
My name is Jaclyn Calder and I teach in a small community on Georgian Bay in Ontario. At the moment I teach at an alternative secondary program run in partnership with the Georgian Bay Native Friendship Centre for First Nations, Metis and Inuit students. In the past I have been an ICT Consultant and Student Success Teacher. When in the “regular” classroom, I have taught science, biology, math, entrepreneurship and health care courses. I spent the first portion of my career teaching in an isolated northern community on James Bay. I am a strong believer of networked learning. This website is one of the ways I organize my learning.

Just checking – did you receive my first comments a minute ago?
Since I just found you on the web, I was wondering if you would e-mail me at the address above? I have typed a lengthy letter to you and would love to send it directly to you.

Hi Jaclyn,
I’m interested in learning more about your MFM1P course. Would it be possible for you to email me so I can ask you a few questions?
Thank you,
